CHANUKAH CHILDREN'S ART 2025
Next holiday we hope to include even more! Thank you to Jessica Corley for volunteering to engage our synagogues in sharing all this wonderful artwork: from Temple Beth Shalom in Santa Fe, and in Albuquerque from Nahalat Shalom, Congregation B'nai Israel and Congregation Albert.
CONGREGATION BETH SHALOM

At Temple Beth Shalom Preschool, our students have been learning about the Festival of Lights and enjoying traditional Jewish activities. Our students, ages 18 months to 5 years, were told the story of Chanukah and invited to create art inspired by the holiday. Some projects were guided by our teachers, while others were completely by the students’ hand. Thank you to all of our wonderful children, and to our educators, who bring light into every season. For more information about TBS Preschool, please contact preschool@sftbs.org or (505) 982-6888
NAHALAT SHALOM

Nahalat Shalom: The Menorah is by Autumn, 4th grade and the "Celebration of Lights" is by Johnny Ellis, 6th grade. Thank you to Batya Podos!
CONGREGATION B'NAI ISRAEL ACADEMY OF JEWISH LEARNING

Judith writes to us: At the Academy of Jewish Learning (AJL) at Congregation B'nai Israel, we retold the story of Chanukah to our Sunday School Gan Class (ages 4-6) and to our Torah (grades 3rd-7th) and asked them to create images of the Chanukah story. For our older students, we selected a few drawings to represent our school. Thank you to our wonderful students and to Morah Nikki I. and Maggidah Batya P. for facilitating this project. For more information about the AJL at Congregation B'nai Israel, please contact the school director, Judith Segall, at cbi.abq.school@gmail.com.
