JANUARY ISSUE 2026 ~ NEW MEXICO JEWISH JOURNAL ~ Tevet, 5786 ~ view in browser
In our January issue, we have brand-new articles from writers both new and familiar, alongside features from December you might have missed during our campaign's peripatetic postings. Scroll down to see all the event flyers from our dedicated Community Supporter advertisers - please do click on them so they know you care too! You can also click on their square icons at the top of the page.
We are sailing into 2026 debt-free! Thanks to 75 individuals and a grant from NM Local News Fund, we raised more than $18,000 in our December campaign,. We would like to cover our $900 in admin fees and are now looking to close that gap here. We doubled our total fund-raising compared to our 2024 inaugural year, while increasing participation 50%.
A quick look at our growth in 2025:
- High Engagement: Our 70% open rate (you opened the newsletter email!) is double the industry average for similar publications.
- Audience Growth: Total newsletter subscribers grew by 50%
- Record Traffic: In December we had 3,500 unique visitors to the website - triple last December's, and now close to 30,000 individual visits total to date.
